Try to relax and not let this all stress you out!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08463963487366690012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36105355.post-62088976562038027942007-01-12T07:53:00.000-05:002007-01-12T07:53:00.000-05:00Hi Betsy!

I'm 25 and due a couple of days before you (June 20th) and I don't have any friends around me who are pregnant at the moment. As a matter of fact, I've only been close to one pregnant woman before and that was my sister-in-law. Since all pregnancies are so different and yet so alike, it's good to hear that we're all going through the same things.

Anyways, that was to introduce myself. As for the turmoil you are going though at the moment, I realize it's tough. At our age though the chances of abnormality are really low. Nonetheless, my OB insisted I have a special scan/ultrasound at 12 weeks where the doctor measured the neural tube and drew some blood. The results all came back great and I was relieved. I was also told that even if an anomaly was found, chances were that everything would be normal anyway.

All that to say, don't be too stressed, especially right now. I have my fingers crossed that all will go well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
